WITH EASTER AROUND THE CORNER AND MANY OF US INSIDE FOR LARGE PORTIONS OF THE DAY WE INVITE YOU TO FILL YOUR WINDOWS (upstairs if downstairs has privacy film or front door or front wall!) WITH DRAWINGS, PHOTOS, CREATIONS, TOYS… BASICALLY ANYTHING THAT WILL BRING SUNSHINE TO ONLOOKERS!
Here’s the idea….
· All of us make something amusing or amazing or interesting to put in the windows of our homes
– Maybe its Easter themed?
– Maybe NHS / Key worker themed?
– Maybe it’s a story across all the windows?
– Maybe something passers-by can interact with?
– Something you have made or designed?
– Portraits of family? Or friends? Or pets?
– Old photos of the local area and the people in it?
– Pictures of what you would like to see from your window?
For those who have lived here for some time… How about fixing some family photos in your window along with mementos, postcards, or your own words about the old days around Jesus Green. Or display something you have made: knitting, embroidery, recipes of your favourite food??

How and When
PLEASE GET YOUR WINDOW DISPLAY FINISHED BY FRIDAY 10TH APRIL SO WE ALL HAVE TIME TO LOOK AT THEM ON EASTER SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
JHERA JUDGES (COMMITTEE) WILL LOOK AT ALL THE WINDOWS AND
PRIZE WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON MONDAY 13TH APRIL.
BECAUSE WE CAN’T MEET TOGETHER FOR THE PRIZE GIVING A BIG NOTICE WILL BE PUT UP ON THE NOTICEBOARD ON THE GREEN AND AN EMAIL DISTRIBUTED THROUGH JHERA FORUM.
PRIZES WILL BE DELIVERED TO THE WINNERS.
