They need our support NOW more than ever.
Volunteers based at St. Matthews church are helping more and more local people – some are parents working 2 or 3 jobs but still not earning enough to feed the family; many are homeless; others are newly unemployed & have weeks to get through with no money until basic benefits are agreed. It all adds up to a long line of people who are hungry & cold & just surviving thanks to support from our local food bank.
Thanks to MAKS NEWSAGENT IN COLUMBIA ROAD, you can leave FOOD & CASH donations with them. Donations are then moved over to the food bank by bike delivery staff from BRAWN RESTAURANT.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A HEAVY LOAD TO DELIVER!
